Looks nice! Btw, how is the supply of high octane petrol down there? Seeing your at the station:) its starting to become a real challenge in Sweden since they swapped 98 for e85 at most places.. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

E85 is nice, whats the equiivalent of it in terms of classic fuel?
I use 100RON. I buy it from OMV but there are a couple more that sell 99RON. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Why are you guys hiding ? i know most of you are doing something with the 924 or to the 924..
I've been driving both cars, doing some small jobs on the silver&blue car.

Had the leather professionally restitched on the 931 steering wheel.
Dyed it as it began to maroon on me.
Clear coated it with leather clear coat.
Applied vitamin
This weekend i want to do the shifter.

Great looking steering wheel. Nice job. Where did you get the Porsche Crest for the horn pad? _________________ MOD

Mine came with one and it seems someone painted/inlaid the background of "porsche" in with white.. Nice looking metal, brass or possibly gold plated something?
Anyone know anything about this? Factory?
Also now looking at it it has yellow inlaid into the shield that I don't see in other badges too.. Maybe a PO did it.. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

One could have it as part of a special addon program called "Porsche Exclusive Option" metal crest that is.
Here is a picture of the 88 catalogue:

Just driving and enjoying the 924 after replacing the brake master cyl, with the rebuilt one.
Other than that, I have under the 944 removing the fuel pump more times than I care to count. After this past weekend, we have confirmed 150lbs compression across all the cylinders, no fuel leaks, spark with new plugs and coil. This has left us to the last part of the whole system, the Injectors. They have been removed and are being sent out for cleaning and testing to make sure that they are good. Then the car should run.
Time is running out for me to bring it to Watkins Glen for the Zone 1 48 hours event. Not that I mind tracking the 924, I was just hoping the 944 would be ready. I still have time though. _________________ Cheers;

Swapped the RHD headlights for LHD ones on my LHD 931, it had RHD lights as it was registered in UK.
Installed the speedo cable in it...now speedo works nicely.
Took the red GTS wannabe 924 on a very cool drive:

A small sneak peek at what I've been up to. It will look factory fresh when finished. The engine goes in next week and hope to ready for the fest.
