My stick shift knob slips over the shift lever and leather boot. There is nothing to keep it from slipping around. I thought thread sealer may provide enough tack to keep the knob from moving around and still be easy to remove if needed. Any ideas? Right now I am looking for a nice set of black/red coco mats for the front. Thanks for all the advice - Ted
PS bought the car on 4/19 and have so far:
1. replaced front left side light bulb
2. replaced hatch struts
3. replaced hatch key gasket
4. replaced washer jets and one valve
5. replaced car speakers - little more width than the standard Blaupunkt, may look for stock replacements _________________ James T. Carrington (Tedder)

| Are the rubber grommets in place? There should also be a clip on the knob to keep it on, that's what the grooves in the bottom of the knob are for. |
