Hey all,
I saw a 1977 924 and it appears to have the windblown turbo kit from what I see of the engine. It has less than 40k on it but I'm not sure if it runs.
I read somewhere they only made a few of these kits, what would a car like this be worth, any thoughts on that or just the car in general?

It sure is: http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/4099621768.html
I have offered them $1000 twice which i do not think is an unfair offer. It does not have a title which will cost money and who knows if it runs/drives or has major issued. It would be a gamble. The windblown system seems interesting. I was trying to read the text on that pipe upside down for about a week and could not figure out what it said
I have seen the $2600 one, not really in the market but that does look like a wonderful car and is very tempting. |

I'd personally pass on the windblown car, no title and waaayyy too many variables. The 931 is a driver if I read the ad corectly and appears sorted.
You could be into the windblown car for more than the $2600 in a heartbeat. _________________ 1982 931- Stock with MBC at 8psi
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it. |

Too bad, that would be an interesting car to take to shows and the track, etc. It is VERY rare, but not worth very much, especially without a title.
The fact that they added the 931 hood and nose panel is interesting.
Dig the wheels too.
Keep offering them money, until they take it. Better if you show up and start laying $100's on the hood. _________________ Stefan

It is a very cool car, maybe they will get back to me on my offer but I'm not sure I want another project. If they are willing to take a grand I will post here and maybe someone from here can save it.

Here is the other ad that is still up: http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/cto/4126659744.html |
