Bingo! New check valve, good fuel flow as measured at the return line after distributor. Thanks for the tip..
BUT, no fuel out of injectors! Mind if I tack another problem to this thread? |

Manually manipulate the air flap in the fuel distributor. If that works, then your fuel distributor needs to be rebuilt. _________________ Stefan

Yeah, that's how I checked the injectors. I've gone as far as looking at the plunger, which seems to be fine. Everything looks super clean. Will look at my CIS book for a good next step.
Thanks fiat! |

Make sure this is functioning correctly too, as one of your tests. You also need to ensure that there are no blockages between the pump and the filter, which could include any one of the multiple sections of line, as well as the accumulator(s). |
Hey ideola, I received the fuel pump and fitting kit which worked perfectly, though I was surprised how small the pump was. Anyways, after running the pump a bit I checked my fuel filter but there fuel is not reaching it. I'm assuming there is a block in the lines going from the pump to filter. How would I check the lines and accumulators and how might I clean them?
Thanks |

Disconnect the lines immediately after the pump and immediately before the fuel filter. Make sure the check valve is not still connected to the lines. Use compressed air to blow the lines out. I recommend starting from the front of the car and blowing back toward the tank. Then vice versa.
Are you certain your check valve is functioning correctly? You should be able to blow air thru it from back to front, but not the other way. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

| Thanks a ton Ideola that absolutely worked, the fuel pump you sent runs great, and now I have fuel running everywhere it needs to go, save for the actual engine damnit. Looks like ill be pulling the injectors tomorrow. |
