The value is in the rebuilt head, the rest, as a roller, not much. The belts, rollers, and other FOES items will have to be done, again. Engine out is simpler, but one has to have the tools. Call AutoEdge in Mahtomedi, MN and ask them for a price on the above. And ask about swapping out the rod bearings too. You'll get a real quick idea on what to do! Better to find a better example. Unless you have the tools, the time, and inclination!

ooohh! cool find! I have an '88 924S I bought last summer, body needs some work, as well as a new clutch, which I bought, and the dreaded FOES! Paul has the tools! Was thinking of pulling the engine and heading over to the east coast of Wisconnie this spring.

Not many, Brealytrent is one, not far, and have lost track of others. Oh, Flosho is in Eau Claire. We get quite a few car clubs out to our restaurant each summer. Had the Nordstern PCA club out in '08, they're due to come back. Oh, and Paul and Sharon come out quite a bit, now in his twin turbo!
