I'm putting euro bumpers on my 87 924s, but I am at a crossroads... should I delete the rubber bumper pads/strip or leave them on? Take a look.

If I were me, I'd leave them off, and sell them to someone, like me~! If you decide to go rubberless, I have dibs~!

Think you need to see a car as a whole rather than just some naked bumpers to make a call

Before and after here

Depends on the rest of the body, suspension, wheels for me whether it looks right or not.

Thank you guys for the imput, by the way I love your two tone 924. It looks absolutely stunning. The euro models look worlds better... hence my dillema with the bumpers.

Here is a pic of the car before I put my 17x7 cup 1 wheels on. I'll take and upload an updated picture tomorrow when it is light out.

leave them on, it will look nice and balanced.
if you take them off it will just look like a hastely modified car in my opinion.

I say leave the rubber trims on - they will match the side strips and the rubber trim on the euro bumpers isn't bulky like the rubber bricks on US bumpers

A little fresh paint, cup 1's, and I decided to keep the rubber trim on. They look good - thanks for the advice everyone. [/img]

Proper bumpers, well done. Looks clean .....

PS will those awful side markers buff out?

proper !
the front wings you can swap for european ones too...but on the rear ones i would just make a fiberglass pad that levels the round stamped area with the body and fix it like the factory fixed the marker. Ofcourse paint it with the car. The result would be a shaved side marker but no metal work, no rust ,ever. and i think it would look just as good as an euro model.
