1) Is it better to have a flat( non funnelled.. Non angled) radiator shroud or no radiator shroud at all?... I'm playing very tight tolerances ATM with the turbo
2) I've had to flip the 944 turbo radiator upside down due to space... Is there any major issues with the overflow tank( 944 style) flowing into the hot side end tank now instead of the cold side radiator end tank.. Won't fit the original way _________________ 1979 NA

A shroud will increase the efficiency of the fan. So yes, a shroud should be used. _________________ 78 924 NA

I threw my shroud away and put a spal fan directly on radiator(when the old fan broke ) , the cooling is better than ever. When you dont use the fan the shroud only stops flow, so as long as you still have cooling enough when the fan is on i can't see any risk of running without. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

Interesting... I'm trying to figure out if my non angled shroud has any benefit?
It runs parallel to the radiator... Ie no angled funnelling _________________ 1979 NA
