A recent picture of my 931 with newly purchased 16x8 rims with ET23 (shouldn't actually fit, but when there's a will there's a way). I think they fit the car quite well and gives that 80's racecar look that I like.

The rims really should be quite unique on a 924 body. They have a clearance of only a couple of millimeters at the rear even with thinner spacers than original, massaging the inner side of the wheel arches and -2 degrees of camber.
In the front they are barely inside the arches and only at the top, around 3 degrees of negative camber helps that.
The car is almost exclusively used for trackdays (but then using 7x15" cookie cutters) so the extra camber was already there before.

They look great! What is the brand/model of those wheels? I think they would fit on early 944 too. _________________ Mikko

Thanks to all of you for the kind words!
My car has never before been a "looker", but these wheels lifted it from the gutters and now I think everyone loves the looks of it (no one has so far said otherwise at least). Even got comment from an unknown girl that said "what a nice car you have, I usually only like 911:s".

Actually don't remember the brand... When I have them off next time I will check (I know it said on the inside of the center).
They would surely fit early 944s as well and was actually on a 911 before I bought them. _________________ www.patandracing.se |

Hey, those wheels are about the closest wheel to how I envisioned my car. Likely won't need them till about 2020 but it gives me lots of wiggle room to find some. Needless to say, I love the look, so I won't. _________________ oldcarman-77 porsche 924 and one of the ugliest motorhomes on earth. |
