I know this could be posted in the For Sale area, but I wanted to specifically ask if anybody had a 2.5L NA engine (924S/944) they would like to part with.

I have two goals:

1. learn to disassemble/rebuild a 2.5L NA engine
2. Replace the aging engine in my running car

If you have a running long block engine, I can offer a fair price, and can transport the engine myself, if within a couple hundred miles of Winchester, VA.

If you have a blown engine, I can take it off your hands (for cheap) and transport also.

I know it might be cheaper to buy a parts car with engine, but it would be nice to have the engine already removed from the car.

Let me know what options you might have.

Thanks!

There's an 87 parts car in RI on Ebay now currently going for $500 with 3 days left.

Claims the engine ran when last started 2 years ago. Interior is in pieces and no title.

I have a short block complete, in good condition. I stole the head and cam tower off it for another project. The cylinder bores are nice.
