Yep tried the search but thats futile. Can we make the search function search just the topic title? Anyway, Is there a switch or something for the under hood light? Ive got a new bulb in it but I cant figure out how to turn it on. Mine only has one wire going to it.

It is an integral mercury-activated switch. When the hood is up, theoretically the mercury closes the circuit and the light should light up. Assuming (A): you have good ground; and (B): the mercury is still in the switch; and (C): the bulb holder isn't corroded to heck or otherwise non-functioning; and (D): the rest of the circuit is functioning properly. Also, IIRC, by default is wired to only come on when the parking lamps or head lamps are illuminated.

Try doing a search using the "search for all terms" options. Sometimes, it also helps to set the "Display results as:" to "posts" rather than "topics". If that fails, Google's advanced search can also be used by setting the "Search within a site or domain:" field to http://www.924board.org
