Hey everybody, just joined your forum tonight and this is my first post!
I just (as in about an hour ago) got my new 1980 Porsche 924 home from the car lot. It has NO windows and i got towed in....you guessed it....a BLIZZARD wearing just my coat and a pair of snowboarding goggles! Anyways I started a blog to document the progress of the work im going to do to the car and all the repairs im going to try and make with the info that I find posted on here!
I would REALLY appreciate any helpful tips that you all might have once you see the pictures of what I have to work with (will upload to the blog tomorrow night). I have been reading this forum for about a week now and you seem to have a LOT of knowledge between yourselves! here's the link if you would like to check it out! http://my931.blogspot.com/ I'm REALLY looking forward to many conversations on this site in the near future! _________________ http://my931.blogspot.com/ |

The 944 front section is now welded into place, badge panel and bonnet all line up. Replacement wings dropped off to continue the front end rebuild. Needs a bit more fabrication to get the rad to fit to the new mounts, and a inner piece of nose panel to be moved to enable the two outer air vents to fit and operate properly. Then its a week or so of removing all paint and prepping for the paint booth in two weeks time.

@ Talldude950,
welcome, there's a section called 931 tech discussions, in there is a FAQ on restoring a 931. A must read.
You can also start a new thread there so it won't get lost in all this rando stuff.

Scorpio is in Australia, so to us in the U.S. that means he has already painted it since today is yesterday to them ...
or does that mean he's painting it tomorrow...
wait, when did you post this?
