Hey All, In browsing around the pics on this site and others I have noticed that the 924s with the the European Type Bumpers look so much better than the examples we got here in the US and Canada.
I like my porsche's stock looks but this is one modification I'd like to make some day.
Have any members here in North America tried swapping out their rides with these smaller bumpers? Are these parts available here anywhere? Any troubles with getting the cars inspected afterwards?
Thanks, Michael. |

I have a primed Euro bumper for sale $160 plus freight.
I am redoing my front to a 924GT and have a perfect set of fog lights available. $125 pair
Large rubbers for the front bumper 2 for $50
Email off the list please if you or others are interested.
Go to the calendar section and on the first page on the right you can see my 79 931 euro with fog lights. Think chocolate/strawberry colored car.

the calendar is at http://www.924board.org/calendar/ in case you missed the post.
Someone should really start thinking about taking a mold from the Euro bumpers (they're only fiberglass) ready to supply the North American market once Vince has sucked up the entire European stocks. |

They are fiberglass, are they? Not the ABS type plastic molded kind?
Vince, what does the $160.00 get me exactly? Just the fiberglass portion, the shell itself? Is the valance part there as well?
Thanks, Michael. |
