Hello,
Just wondering what your favorite cams are for these motors,
and what performance gains, they gave you.
Also whats a safe rev limit with the stock bottom end? _________________ 924 N/A snailshell, superpro linkage bushes, 2.5"exhaust

1. Integral Cams
2. Not installed yet, so I don't know the power gains
3. 7000 RPM max, but the bottom end isn't the constraint on rev limit _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Thanks for that.
There is a guy near me that does regrinds as well.
His name is Ivan Tighe, and I think his websites www.Tighecams.com.au.
He has like 20 differend grinds for the 924,
He has a good reputation in racing and speedway over here.
I would just need a spare cam to have reground.
I wasn't sure if reground cams end up with stock size bearing journals?
Could someone let me know?
I know they can/ do add material with a molybendum rod or something,
but thats about it.
Also does anone have/ or know any famous grind specs for these,
eg, dprod, le-mans, etc. _________________ 924 N/A snailshell, superpro linkage bushes, 2.5"exhaust

stock regrinds would use the same bearings but depending on the grind might need some attention to the clearances of the lifter. either by using slightly bigger adjustment screws or alternatively lengthening the valves.
It really depends on the duration / lift you are tgrying to achieve.

A regrind will almost certainly require larger adjusting screws, custom cut valve stems, or lash caps. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
