Why not? Looks decent from here, and seems like the paint might be not bad... _________________ Vaughan Scott

I'd be interested to know what that blue and white thing is that's attached to the top of the radiator hose. Usually that has a maroon plug in it that is used to get air out of the cooling system. Looks like it has a wire running to it, too. Maybe a temp sensor? _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD |

The engine looks pretty clean. I'm guessing it's a 1981 or 1982???? How about pix of the rest of the car? _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

the dimple in the top of the coolant bottle looks like it has some kind of fluid in it....
But it looks sharp! _________________ proud owner of a 1979 924 Sebring Edition with a 931 trans that looks horrible but somehow runs... |

Make sure the head gasket is good and that contraption on the coolant hose is not some 'pressure relief' to vent pressure from the cooling system. Check the oil for water. _________________ "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you are goin' all the way."

Haha, if i can get this to run... you're fine.
Biggest thing i can say is to make sure you check all the odds and ends on your vacuum lines, make sure there aren't vacuum leaks, fix them if you do, replace any nasty ass old hoses and cracked hoses and make sure to do a compression check you should be good. _________________ - 1977 Porsche 924 2.0 N/A (Trackday Project)

Indeed, looks pretty clean Steve. What's the seller asking for it? Any other details on it?

+1, or something more sinister..
Whatever it is, they wouldn't allow it on an airplane (we'd hope).
Go for it - but don't open the hood [bonnet] near any public buildings. (They'll have to clear the town, and cart it away for disposal in the desert.)
