@Dreamgts,

If you like you can buy my whole setup. It includes EVERYTHING you need, among it; exhaust manifold, downpipe, first part of the exhaust system, Garrett GT28RS, oil lines, modified sump, modified waterlines, intercooler, intercooler piping, bov, VEMS standalone management system with wiring loom, fuse-relaybox, trigger wheel, trigger sensor + bracket, MSD dis ignition coil, ignition cables, sparkplugs, injectors 630cc, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, fuel hoses, intake manifold with 60mm throttle body and iacv, temp sensors, airfilter etc, etc, down to the last hose clamp used. The engine you can get with it for free.

Management system has a dyno tuned map for the setup in it; made 187 whp (around 220 engine hp) at 0.8 bar. On a G-tech it did 0 - 100 km/h in 5.7 - 5.8 seconds.

Buy a stronger clutch and you can even extract a bit more from it...

Most parts were bought new and used for only a few months. Turbo has around 50.000 km on it, bought it new for a different car about 3 years ago then reused it on the 924.

Have not thought about a price yet, and no time to take a serious look at it now. If you are interested I can do that next week.

Cheers,

Pieter

This is your best bet.....the time taken to make that sort of setup really is alot.....then again maybe the actual project is what you need to keep your mind focussed?

Your right on both accounts scorpio, its the best bet for me in one way, yet the project is actually taking my mind off other problems and keeping me focused.
I tried to start the 924 today after refitting the rear fuel pump. It didnt unfortuanetly. Checked relay seems ok, made a jump wire instead of the relay just to be sure, fuses are ok none blown, silencer/damper in fuel tank is ok , I benchchecked the pump ( just for a fraction of a second) it worked( kind of shivered itself). I checked the wires attached to the pump and silencer/damper with the ignition key on there was no voltage, the manual states there should be voltage at the wires (1 brown wire 1 green/black wire which are brigded to the damper/silencer in the tank). I checked for voltage at these wires with relay and with jump wire in with the ignition on, still no voltage, no fuel was coming into the distributor either (naturally)..... any ideas?? any threads tackling this problem.

ideola, Iv seen your wide bodied project taking form on another thread and really like it s lot, I might apply the IFC kit to Max, do you think the car would look ' stupidly overdone' body wise with that kind of kit and with the engine specs Im aiming for? The kit is a real killer as for racing looks go. Iv already e mailed IFC to query if they ship to Europe. This project is really getting to me now, and have decided to do 'project management' first and look into options available. What size tyres are you fitting to the car since the kit looks real wide.
Do you have any idea of how much wieght would be saved by changing the front fenders.? Im really weight concious and want to remove as much wieght as possible. Weight can stop a train!!!
