I know. That's why I think he should forget about rear coil overs. Waste of time and money on a street car in my opinion. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

i think i'd be better off with a set of thicker torsion bars...right now i have the 23mm ones and the car puts the ass down when i leave in a hurry.
take a look here @min 1:35: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFt1WVms2Ms
i was thinking of coilovers for the rear to avoid changing the torsion bars.
9xx Girl check out my signature...my car is preety low i'd say...there would be room for rising it just a tad...however i'll drop the rear coilovers ideea and probably get a set of stiffer torsion bars.
anyway...that 200$ conversion kit for the fronts looks very nice...i think i'm going to get one. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Morghen, the cheapest option by far up front is to buy adjustable spring seats at rallydesign. A friend of mine did that on his 924, workes really nice and you can choose by hundreds of springs.
The kit is 21£ per side, just add springs.

For my car I bougth 28mm torsion bars from clip1.com, pretty easy to install and gives a pretty stiff car, not at all to stiff of you dont have the dampers set to hard. If you want to get coil overs how about GAZ ? Or maybe AVO. GAZ is the cheapest one.
You wont brake anything with coil overs, race cars run haaaard springs and dampers on those without problems. The loads are way more than a pothole on the street. You havent seen swedish curbs yet _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

thanks Cédric, i'm not specially looking for the cheapest stuff..but something that will be good and reliable on the street and not godly expensive...as i'm not into racing and i see no reason to throw money on expensive equipment so i can use it on sundays
thanks guys !
i'm going to make a comparison between all the options and see what i'll get. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Cédric, thanks for the link. Which springs do you have in front with 28 t-bars in the rear? _________________ WBR, Shurick
