This might be a stupid question. I have a non turbo 1977 924 N/A. Can I not just simply slap a turbo on it and go? with a few scoop(airflow) mods of course.... _________________ 1977.5 N/A 924 |

anything is possible, but if you dont know how to on your own. For the most part without asking how to on here.
Then you cannot do it. _________________ 3 928s, |

search is your friend... here's a start: http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=26375&highlight=add+turbo
it can be done, but theres allot morte to it than just slapping a turbo on. if you want any durability, compression will have to be lowered, cooling system improved, ect.. ect..
you can try BAE turbo as a search term as well, that was a fairly successful "kit", even if you could find one, it wont be servicable..but duplicating the layout with modern and improved parts can be done..
However, there is no simple solution.. A supercharger might be a sliighty easier way to go... _________________ Eric

adding a turbo
custom manifold
turbo charger

Fuel control
Spark advance and retard control
EFI is best but youre looking from $600 or so up for a basic setup
some way of keeping it all cool
