Im replacing my coolant transfer tube with some thin walled aluminium tubing..any suggestions on size?
i have the following three options..
1-Top 2- bottom left 3- bottom right

also did people who have done this weld a "lip" around the edge to help with clamps gripping the rubber hose?

Aluminium tube is quite thin...say 2mm is there any problem with this? the transfer tube itself is quite thin but i think its a harder alloy

The lip is done by using a bead roller. It would take 2 seconds once you find someone with one.
