Actually K24 is better turbo than K26 as it's more efficient and is more than enough for turbocharging stock 924 NA.

Agree, Audi 20V quattro using a K2470 got 230 hp! The K2472 from RS2 delivered 315 hp, but that was actually a K26/K24 hybrid.

Hey Scorpio, why dont you just start with the turbo you have if its basically all bolt on. You may even be happy with it, maybe not, but it will allow you to get it on the road quicker and sort out any other bugs that may (and likely will) arise.

Then if you`re really not happy with it start looking for something else.

Just my 2c which with rounding down is FA.

Ill blame ADD...... and i know that alot of the people on this board such as yourself and raceboy know a hell of a lot more about cars than i do , so when you say the Rajay turbo is a heap....ide take your word for it

Funny story..leadfoot messaged me telling me about a 951 intercooler on ebay, i hadnt even thought that far ahead yet bought it within a day!..lol Turns out it was a good buy though

i get ahead of myself sometimes

I bought turbocharger from some nissan 2L.
Not enough space at the picture. I rotated it on 180deg, rotated housings and will create bracket for actuator.

to be continued...

Shouldn't the compressor side facing the other direction, e.g. drivers side? That would make fitting the turbo a bit better. Of course cold side plumbing will require more effort.

hey vemser do you have any closeups of the BAE manifold in relation to the alternator? will you be using some sort of heat shielding for your turbo?..the BAE kit puts it quite close to the radiator..not good for cooling

At the weekend i'll make more pics.

Of course heat shielding for everything, it should be some thermal tissue.

I have this IC and think it's not good for implementing in our cars, not enough space upper bumper. Better to use some another in front of radiator with side looking pipe branchs.

not at all...ive just finished a wicked 951 intercooler installation, turns out theres more than enough space with a bit of cutting..im in the process of a big installation writeup so if youve got one keep it!

p.s intercooler + condenser + radiator+oil cooler ..all at front plus extra heat from turbo = recipe for disaster
