Quick update, awesome weekend, won some tires, medals, and a trophy, and reset the track lap record by a whole half-second!!! Some killer racing with some fast, clean competitors, very memorable, excellent weather, excellent weekend!
Will post back more later with vids and pics... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Thats a fast track ! And i thougth safety around swedish tracks sucked, if you miss a corner there your toasted.
Well driven, nice and smooth to keep up the speed, is there any possibility to turn down the gain on the mic. Or maybe put some dampening material around it ? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

Actually, safety there is really quite good, certainly compared to my home track!!
No gain on the mike, but yes, I do have on my to-do list to bury the mike under yet another layer of duct tape. The car is very loud... recorded 95 Db on a flyby... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Ah, sorry, guess I forgot to mention that... old record was a 1:47.477, new record is 1:46.912!
Well, if you wanna be technical, the "old" record was actually 1:47.41-something, set that morning, but 1:47.477 was the "old old" record, prior to the weekend (actually 2 yrs old).
I remember when I started racing down at Mid-O, a 1:46 would have been a very good ITA lap time!! Of course, now the ITA record is down to 1:42.9!!! _________________ Vaughan Scott

How do the dB limits work "over there" ? Over here, no track has more than 95dB, measured justbeside the track.
95 on a "stock" 924 is impressive , almost straght pipes ? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

We can do 103 dB until 6PM, then it drops to 96. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Db limits vary depending on the track; my home track only allows 75Db at the property line. So I use a more quiet pipe, run at around 72 Db there. _________________ Vaughan Scott
