To me it looks like my car is out of focus, or I`m pissed. (drunk)

Running very well at the moment. With the price of gas up I have been screwing with the ECU to squeeze as much economy out of every drop.
First priority was power, of course. Have to pull my finger out and get the blower on soon.

Yeah, I knew it would be tight - I've got an adptor plate with the Weber to squeeze in too, plus figure out how to get the throttle linkage to work in the opposite direction

Been looking at silicone elbows etc - is yours resting on the fuel rail?

The throttle linkage may require some thought but shouldn`t be a major problem. Various cams and linkages are available aftermarket or from other TBs or carbs. Throttle cable may need shortening, replacing or modification too.

My silicone elbow is 3" reducing to 2 1/2", with around an inch cut off the 3" leg. As you can see it close to the rail, however not touching. Pity that these elbows are not available offset, but it may be possible to cut the TB end at an angle so that it sits at an incline, over the fuel rail. They`re available in 135* bends so that may be another option.

Before you make a final decision get bits of pipe, cans, cardboard rolls, whatever, and do a mock up to check the clearances, especially on the hood.

Hmm, a bit of measuring this evening leads me to think I'm going to need something like the frickin' T.A.R.D.I.S to fit the Weber TB and Todd's fuel rail and also get a silicone bend between the two...

The Weber is very tall and I can't for the life of me see how it could fit, even without a fuel rail in the mix - I'd really love to see a pic of anyone who's fit a Weber big throat TB to their car - really I would. Some googling doesn't produce anything useful.

The cynic in me thinks it's all a cruel joke...

If I were to use some extruded Aluminum box instead of a silicone bend it would be better - but no idea what that might do to the airflow... more thought required on this...

Are you using an NA intake manifold? My test fitment was on a SI 931 intake, which has longer runners. The plenum is approx 2" further to the left side of the car, which might be enough to make a difference. Just a thought...

Maybe you / we can find you a SI 931 intake? They should be dime-a-dozen...

Just wondering if the longer runners would be of any detriment on an normally aspirated application?
