The only thing that comes to mind is alot of debris in the tank.. I could be wrong (I usually am)
Maybe it is starving the fuel and a minimal amount is actually getting through. When the car is started, if you get it at that angle does it run badly?

Hey, kooky stuff.
All I can think is maybe the engine shifts a bit and something, either electrical or "plumbing" looses its' connection. Maybe a frayed wire grounds out, or some part of the intake tract opens up due to a loose connection.. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Any chance the distributor cap and wires are shorting on the hood?
Try starting it with the hood open. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

Theyre only fitted to Au and possibly Nz cars to comply with our ADRs. It is supposed to stop the engine and fuel pump in case of a roll over.
A real PITA to get to as theyre fitted up under the dash. IIRC it has 2 red wires connected yo it. Maybe your problem.

You guys are overlooking the most basic solution....don't park the car on an angle. _________________ 87-924s |

Try backing the car in (reversing the angle) and see if the problem persists. _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD |
