I have thrown the prop rod in the garbage and upgraded to gas charged shocks. Got them off of Toyota Tercel wagon hatch. They work awsome!! total cost $5.00 CDN Two hours labour to install of my time. Some welding needed.

Why not just take the hood off! Especially with that carb problem, the cops in Nova Scotia aren't going to care man!
OK so which year of Toyota did you pull it off, do they just pop onto the ball joint that porsche has pre-made on the 924? Or did you have to modify it in any way?

| They came off an 85 tercel wagon. Needed to weld a small female braket on the body and a nut on each side of the hood. There is no ball on my hood as you refered to. |

| There is a ball joint on the body of the car in all the post 80s 924's that I've seen. Maybe the old ones don't have it? |
