What track? Summit? This weekend? NASA? Which group? What's your car number? Look me up in the 44Cup area.

I've always been able to use the 'shipping' tiedowns. Steel tab with a hole in the center about 2x3. One on each side welded to the frame rails. Better than using the wheels because it keeps the car from jouncing.

John,

IM going to be at VIR on 8/30-8/31. A friend of mine rented the track and is having an HPDE. Are you guys going to be out at Summit this weekend? Im going over to my friends house in Berryville to load the car on the trailer so I can just pick it up on the way to the track. Since Ill be in the area maybe Ill come by and say hi! Ill be right down the road anyways.

Im sure Ill see them when I get under the car, but where shoudl I be looking for the factory tie downs?

In front of the steering and behind the radiator.

Yes, I'll be there probably all weekend. Excellent occasion to see all kinds of tiedown strategies for the 24/44/51 chassis.

I use the ratchet straps with wheel straps that slip over the tyres. Cant get straps through my wheels and this way I can use 4.

Cheers
Simon
