I love Ann Coulter! SHe can be very caustic but depending on wich side of the isle your on, she can be very funny too. You need to actually read these comments in context for them to be understood correctly. She uses a lot of satire and absurdity to make her points. Just remember the phrase "politically incorrect" was a Soviet Union term that usually got you sent to siberia or "re-education camps" if you were stuck with it.

Coulter is such a despicable person I don't even know where to begin. I think someone from out of country talking about her is like someone talking about the huge, glaring, shiny zit in the middle of your forehead--maybe if we just ignore her she will go away.

She says shocking things in order to get on TV and sell books. This thread proves the method works because folks feed on this crap. Just look at your "overreaction" to this leveling a personal attack at someone you don't even know.

Nah I couldn't care less about the faggot comment. What I care about is that she often lies or distorts facts to reinforce her points, attacks people in a way Howard Stern would frown upon, and is a hateful and bitter bigot.
That's why she's despicable.

A person like her has no business being in the media.
Lies, half truths, spin, context etc.
She'll turn anything into "her truth".
Sadly there's a lot more people out there in the media like her than decent people who actually report.
If she was my parent/ child I would seriously look into disowning that thing.
Not only that but in the looks department she looks like a hundred miles of bad road. |

One should disagree with or debate the idea put forth. It is simply wrong to personally condemn or judge someone you don't know. Shame that more folks don't know that. Clearly, Dale Carnegie isn't reaching enough people.
Regardless, the individual in question is a product of modern tabloid journalism. It would be nice if there were no demand for this stuff.. alas, today's top headline:
