I have a chance at acquiring a used water pump, but I found out that it has about 25,000 miles on it already. Isn't the water pump something that gets changed every time a front-of-engine-service is done? If that is the case then that pump is most likely on its last legs, right?

used water pump = bad idea. the water pump is changed during belt replacement because its easier that way, and a smart thing to do. but if you install a used water pump, its a crap shoot and if it fails, your screwed. I would only use a used wp as a core to eliminate the core deposit on a new one. _________________ Eric

You can make them into a lamp, a light bulb fits very nicely into the thermostat position and with a few extra gaskets it will fit flush against a wall. I was going to make one, but sold it on ebay for $10 instead. _________________ 1987 924S Guards Red
