This is in my way to getting to the speed sensor but I'm not sure what it is to expect what's going to come out if I remove it.
Located just above the sensor behind the intake.
looking directly down:

Are you talking that dirty looking piece centered just below and left of center of the second pic? If so, that would be the heater valve. -And coolant will come out. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

My money's on coolant. Looks like a heater valve. A very greasy, oily, dirty one! _________________ Toofah King Bad

a little off topic, but do the 924S have a electronic solenoid heater valve, or an electronic controled vacuum valve? certainly looks like wires going to it if that is indeed a heater valve.
either way, whats the chance someone has one on the shed that works that they dont want? looks like the perfect upgrade for the 924.
EDIT.... dont mind me. i'm an idiot and its the cable
still off topic... anyone know of any cars that run either type of electronic control valve. cheers _________________ 1978 924 N/A
