Rob Budd, who's already making some nice 928 and 944 products, is working to bring out DIY dash vinyl recover kit for our dashes; he started with the late 944 dash, but has been convinced to do the early ones as well.

They're not quite in production yet, but it sounds like it won't be long...

Have not spoken to Rob in a couple weeks but I dropped off a couple of 924 dashes to assist with the development.

Also, I prototyped a dash with the center speaker removed and replaced by a 2 gauge pod and gave it to him to create a cover. I personally would want gauges or nothing in the spot in the dash. I hope he makes a flat cover too as I know others feel the same about the center speaker.

He said some of the contours of the early dash will make it tough (like the areas above the side vents) but he'll figure it out.

Oh and his hoodliners are nice too, I picked up a few of those while I was there.
