| Joe, I took the sleeve out, and it makes a considerable difference in how the car acts at low speeds. I cut out the sleeve in a79 TB. a copper tube pressed in from the side prevents easy removal. But when I felt around in my 77 TB, it came out with a slight tug, pulling from back to front. Free is a very good price. |

| Joe, I still run my car without the insert. It seems to do better in town, and on the road. And it still passes Oregon emission tests. |

Ive noticed that I dont have to do any port matching between it[thrott. body] &intake
wonder if theres one out there with a bigger
2ndary.. e-turbo back east way back there
did alot of removal of metal between the 2.
Maybe theres a bigger one out there.. some
Ive found the mounting holes dont match up
[spaced out farther lengthwise]
Ive had better luck, seeing bigger ones
[if I remember correctly]on rabbits than
4 door audi 5000s, guess Ill look again
when I have time, got to go back to work
Thur. Weekends are kind of full but still
where I have the most time..He used a audi unit ..I think, gonna have to check his page

So the shims just sit on top of the valve inbetween it & the adjusting screw in the bucket.
