So after asking on this board previous times about my brake pressure problem, and after checking out my master cylinder, brake booster, and changing the fluid, I Finally notice that the hose running to the booster is missing the check valve! Lord knows who worked on this engine and removed it..my suspicion lies w/ the one that changed it to double carbs, but anyway....Can somebody explain it to me?...the check valve runs in-line with the hose running from the engine to the booster, and keeps the "power assist" pressure from bleeding out of the booster..right? Oh, and my last question would be...where do I find this piece! |

Correct; you should be able to get one from a junkyard inexpensively.
