I am interested. I am on strike right now and have to picket this weekend (931 flying squad chasing scabs around the lower mainland), but I am sure I can make time for a cruise. Which day? _________________ 1980 924 turbo |

I might be able to come if I can find the location just have to be at work by 5. I'm not too familiar with the vancouver area although I live in Richmond.
I've actually never driven my car for more than 1 hour at at a time so I'm not sure how bad my fumes would get...
putting a new muffler and extended tip put on in a day or two which might help get the exhaust a bit further from the hatch. _________________ 78 924 sold.

Tim you can follow me to the meeting place. Also if you dont want all of those fumes what you do is :when its dark out have someone stand outside your car with a flashlight while you lie inside the car with your head facing the hatch.Keep the hatch closed.Look for light coming thru. Wherever it does you just put a strip of urathane then put talc on the urathan so its not sticky anuymore and you can still open the hatch. You buy the urathne in a 1/4" x 1/4" x 10 foot roll at Concept Finishes on Bridgeport, between Shell Rd. and Simpson Rd.Costs like $4.50 .I did this before getting a new set of hatch pins and a new seal and it worked great.Just MAKE SURE to talc up the top of the seal really well or it'll be a big mess when you try to open the hatch. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

Yes I am a 27 year employee of Telus (BC Tel). I used to work in the distribution centre before the lockout. Mostly delivering poles, cable reels and central office equipment. _________________ 1980 924 turbo |

If I had a choice it would be Sunday AM.
Regarding Telus

I have heard mention 6 to 9 months. However the Government of Canada assembles again soon and there is rumor the federal labor minister will appoint a mediator (Telus is a federally regulated company). We had an agreement at one time for binding arbitration which the union went for but the company later appealed and rejected. So far it does not look good; no one is talking except through the media. _________________ 1980 924 turbo |
