Cbass,
You've been selling and smoking that 'medical marijuana' haven't you?
Also, I thought later 924 spin-offs eliminated the windscreen-to-body gap but this 968 has it? Still you won't win the 'Contest' with this one. Too much money and too far removed from a 924. Sorry but those are the rules.

PS Sold the 924S (It was too un-924)

I'd like to know more. What did it start out as ? What parts did you use & who supplies them ? Don't under any circumstances tell me how much you spent !

That picture was of a 924 conversion!? Or was that an actual 968?

Thats an actual 968. I'm getting a 924S as soon as I have the space. That gets 968 drivetrain, a turbo and 968 body panels from GT Racing. It's less than 4 grand for lightweigh fiberglass, or 6 grand for carbon fiber... The suspension will be 968 M030 up front, and Koni 3012 coilovers in the back. 500hp, 450ftlbs @ 1.4 bar boost.

Your 968 is a car for the rest of us to drool over. It seems to be more of a Por$che. It would be a wonderful car to own. The expense of buying one and keeping it running is more than myself or most of the rest of us would care to contemplate. But it might be something I might like, after I send my son to college. Please keep us informed about your experiences and progress. Since you have had the plain 924, and now the 968, you have seen the results of the evolution. Congratulations.

You leave the MM out of this!

I don't have a 968, or a 924S for that matter. I will have a junker 924S as soon as I can find one in the area for cheap. I plan to replace just about everything in the car, with the possible exception of the interior:D Engine, tranny, suspension, brakes, body, wheels, hatch. Actually, that's not that much...

I will post up lots of pics when I get the car

Good luck CBase, this seems like an ambitious project. Let us know when it is finished. I will be curious about the time, cost, and results of the conversion.
