I will have some new race video to upload later today; it's a new take on old stuff that you should find much more exciting!!! I've been using a product called TrackVision, made by some fellow rennlisters, to merge the data from my datalogging system with the video from my videocamera. This results in a dashboard display overlaid on the in-car video, just like in Speedvision.
Too much technology for this old racecar!!! NOT!
It's really cool, and while I need to go back and re-capture some of my in-car at higher res, I'll post back soon as I upload some of this stuff. It'll really surprise you to see some of the numbers put on the in-car, realize just how fast we're going! Less than 2-foot separation at 100mph going through the turns is impressive no matter what you're driving!
Yes, this is just a tease - stay tuned! _________________ Vaughan Scott

Pretty exciting though it does show how a 924 can run..thats
useful. Think Ill go out and drive mine like that for a while.
Im lucky theres lots of roads here where I can run wild if I choose. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

Vaughan that is a great video!
More to the point it looked as if you were going very well. I noticed the car seems very stable with just a little opposite lock here and there and clearly better in the corners than the beemer you passed!
The engine note is quite deep, what exhaust are you running?
Cheers

Thanks guys!
The exhaust is the MSDS header w/ 2.5" plumbing, and 2 race bullet straight-through exhausts that dump under the body, just in front of the torsion bar carrier. Too loud. #1 project for this year is to plumb it out back all the way to the bumper, cut down on the noise levels for me.
I may have actually only been running one of those two Dynomax mufflers at that race, can't remember...
Yes, the car's VERY stable and solid in the corners - but not too stable, very driveable... _________________ Vaughan Scott
