I've just found this add of a cosmetically overdone 924 cabrio.

http://www.mobile.de/cgi-bin/search.pl?CountOff=121&DataNr=116&DisplayDetail=26120368&DoSearch=1&FormCategory=0&FormColor=%2e%2e%2ebeliebig&FormDate=0&FormDurchmesser=0&FormEZ=%2d&FormKilometer=%2d&FormLand=%2e&FormMake=34&FormModel=924&FormPLZ=&FormPower=%2d&FormPrice=%2d&FormSort=0&Page=2&SearchCat=bereich%3dpkw%26sprache%3d1&bereich=pkw&sprache=1&x=0&y=0

I like this term, "cosmetically overdone"

Wow. Doesn't even look like a 924 anymore. But if someone handed me the keys and the title...

I don't know, I kind of like it. It's not a trashy job like the ricers do. Clean, flowing....hell I'd buy it.

It's a pretty standard 944 widebody, but I don't like the sides of the kit. Besides, how are you supposed to recognize it as a 924 now? I think a 924 with 944 qps looks fairly nice, but thats just over doing it.

Come on! Those doors look like Ally McBeal's ribs! I'd like to see that guy parallel park that thing with the rims sticking out past the tires. Can you say "curb rash"?

HA! Good one Troy!

But I gotta' say, if the keys were handed to me....

I think the owner did some nice work on it. Don't care for the 944 front end though. I'd prefer a fab kit that retains more of the distinct 924 look rather than copying the 944 lines. Don't know if that's possible.

I don't care for the rims much either, but the body is gorgeous. Defininetly not a 924 anymore, though...
