well, Hopefully you deciding not to sell your head in the US won't be a perminant thing, but one thing I don't think anyone has requested is .. pictures? ... I'd really love to see what it looks like, I feel wary about purchasing anything without seeing what it looks like.

The heads are receiving a slight re-design at the moment, to hinder any possible attempts for the modifications to be duplicated, without completely destroying several heads to find out what we are doing and how.
Once the re-design is complete, we will re-evaluate our position on letting heads go to north america.
Simon
Thanks for your level headed post... 931 parts are in the pipeline, at the moment we are working on obtaining a 931 test mule vehicle to test the items on... which will be happening over the next few weeks. _________________ Jon Mitchell

Well lets see.
Water proof amp enclosure.
Steel bat box
door solenoids
a heater
electric side mirrors wired in.
P&ped head surfaced and put together.
lightened flyewheel & decked bolck
944 cat back exhaust correctly fabbed in.
A nice racen seat at least for my side the RCI seats
I have are pretty hard though I added extra padding
its not enough. I deserve a nice racen seat. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

Jon,
Will these new redesigns alter any flow properties or put a dent on performance gains?
That would be unfortunate- but, hey, like we have a choice. Do what you must.
I'm off to do a 5- lug swap.
peace, boys.... peace.

The car looks good. I would stripe it along the color change.
One question.......your car must weigh a ton with all that paint on it.

i forgot to post that Indi9xx did indeed send me my turbo, it appears to be as stated, . im still curious to know what happened to the ' first' one though, as i never got any tracking info on it...despite the time lapse and intermittant communication, i bear no hard feelings...it just sucks that it set my project back nearly a year ( didnt have the cash to go elsewhere) but as i said, im happy he finally came through and the turbo now awaits installation... _________________ Eric

| im a very newbie at this 924 thing, i have driven mine ('78 california model) now only several times and I am interested in more power. Im glad to see that there are other people working on this. I guess Im just saying Im intruiged, providing the whole package (head plus other mods) could achive results at a reasonable price, say 1000$ or so? |

I was just curious what the status of this project was? I've come into a 1978 924, and once I get the car running smoothly I wanted to possibly start doing some performance mods. From reading from the start this project looked very promising. If you have some free time to post, any new updates would be great indi9xx. _________________ 1978 924 |
