I agree with the above, sounds like either the pump or the filter. Filters only about £18 and will probably need changing anyway.

Maybe so, but more likely you won't be able to tell the difference between a japanese motor, and a chinese copy.

How do you make sure the air is metered and filtered? Just run a tube to the manifold?

Whats the advantage of air shrouded injectors smoothie?

I don't think you need to worry. using 4 injectors from a 5 cylinder car will give you approximately the same fuel. The 5 cylinder was a 2.2, ...

Theres a bolt in the sump, just above the sump plug. Can't remember the thread of hand, but thats where most people put an oil temp sender.
