Yes, the model/part numner would be helpful. I'm pretty sure the 79 and 78 were the same.

Part of problem is the unit is missing from my car, so I don't kow the right model number for 1978 that is appropriate.

Having done this twice in the last year, and one of the 924s sat for 12 years, here is what I did with great success. I'm assuming its a non-turbo.

Thanks for the info JB. Sounds like the mounting bracket parts were also used on the Audi Quatro oil cooler mountings. I'll check the Audi dealer.

I just did my 78 924, cocoa brown interior, with the RIT dye ( I used Cocoa brown #20 I purchased at AC Moore Craft Stores.)

Anyone know where you can get the molding for the windshield. Seems someone removed the molding on the left and right side. It's the inner part. Top is still there.
