yup, that will have an negative effect on the airmeters functioning.
CIS doesn't like air leaks that big.

But in this case the air leak is before the air is "messured" by the CIS. So ...

Thats the crankcase breather hose.
Fitted to the air box on USA cars and to the air induction boots on ROW cars
