I recently ordered the 931 valve kit from Ideola and have to drop everything off at my machinists tomorrow. He asked me to give him the clearance specs and any other specifics for the head.

Time to get out some vice grips and rip that bad boy off... I got mine off and never plan on putting it back on there. It's such a hassle to remove.

I ended up really tapping the bit in and I ended up getting it out. Out of all of them it was the only one that was very corroded.

Ready for the head to be removed, figured it would lift right off ...

Ouch...

Got home from work and re-soaked them with PO and I tried getting 2 more out and they came out alright, maybe the one was overtorqued. Lets hope, I'll get back to the stripped one later

Might as well do the belt and tensioner. I think I only paid $40 for both the belt and tensioner online at Advanced.

Not sure where exactly that brace is supposed to be, right on the inside of where the plate with the dipstick mounts to the block?

Doesn't look like I have it.
