Another interesting thing I learned:

The caliper that I used that bleeder rig on was a factory rebuilt unit. Mine stripped out because Centric, the rebuilder, drilled and tapped the caliper for a ...

There`s a repair kit available in motorcycling circles that is just what you need. Have used them successfully a few times now. IIRC the bleeder thread is drilled out & tapped to 7/16" (UNF?) ...

That's how I built mine, actually. I don't have a welder here. I've got some cut down and stubby 17mm wrenches. We'll see tonight how it works.

I'm hoping that I can pry the alternator case aw ...

resistor has to be anything between 35 and 500 Ohms. It is the resistance that tells the voltage regulator to operate. This is known as exciting. The Cs-144 has an option for a self exciting regulator ...

Aha. My bushings are actually just fine, so I've left them in there.

The resistor required is a curious thing. Some sources call for 35 Ohm, 3 Watt, others says 82 Ohm, 5 Watt. Radio shack has a ...

At this point I went to test fit the top mount and discovered that the corner of the back mount would not let the alternator mounting holes meet up. So I ground the the corner down a bit to allow ...

Thanks, Ozzie, for the response. Fuel filters are new.

Good point about the control/ system pressure. I'll be back at the car in 4-5 hours and will try to get a real reading on the pressures. ...
