You could consider upgrading to the 944 expansion tank? From what I remember, it requires as well replacing the main hose to the tank and the overflow (from the cap itself).

Singer seems to use some sort of rubberized paint on such parts - maybe look into that? Provides a REALLY nice feeling finish, sort of like black rubber but more solid... |

They are - a large part of why I chose to go with them.
But no, I didn't go for the Martini style, as good as it looks. Something a bit more unusual/custom, and should fit better with the car. |

Update on this - we had torrential rains yesterday in the midwest, and I was up and about in the 931 between the worst gaps... and no leaks on the driver's side! Fix is confirmed...
