Is the CGT the fore-runner of the 944 or is it the answer to the 944? What are the production years?

I traded emails with this guy 8 or 9 months ago, I think the price is 28 US. He said it was one of three in the states. Very nice car.

If I could afford to buy that car , I'd snap it up ! in the early seventies , carrol shelby couldnt give away the cobra's that won le mans , now you couldn't buy 1 if you had a million dollars . those cars are going to be worth alot of money some day . sh*t , even early cheveles, camaro's , and mustangs in great condition are going for 50G's +

I was looking at the interior pic:
http://www.europeanlocators.com/db-interior.htm

Does anyone know what the two gauges are in the center speaker slot? Also, I like the center tach. How much of a PITA would it be to do it? I don't think I have enough speedo cable to switch them.

hmmm, one thing I just noticed is that the rear bumper sits out at US specs, but it does have a euro bumper on the rear, that is wierd,

I doubt the paint is original. Might be actually a replica or it was in an accident before.

Actually, the GT uses a different bumper than the 924/931. It sticks out further in the back. It looks like the original bumper to me.

924 euro rear bumper:

Carrera GT rear bumper:

Damn it! It's gone! The 1980 Porsche 924 Carrera GT was sold in September, 2003. Price not listed.
