OK, I've increased the avatar file size to 10K bytes. The picture size stays at 120 pixels wide by 80 pixels high.
This means you can increase the colour depth of the avatar pics but not the size - if the avatars are too big it messes up the whole look of the board and we have to remember that there are still a lot of people out there that do not have broadband. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

I found this quite entertaining:
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 120 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 683604 KB.
