The reason I was fumbling with the wipers was, well, for starters, we shortened the switch arm for the dash bar of the roll cage. There was enough water on the track at the start of the race, and enought traffic kicking it up, that I had to use the wipers to see. Then, later, when Dave in the black/yellow 944 #44 went off in front of me I had to use the wipers to clean off all the mud!!!

That's just a pretty stock 2.0L with header, 2.5" pipe, and race bullet muffler.
