Performance tires in relatively high profile 15" sizes are getting a little hard to find.

I am looking for good performance in a stock looking street machine that I autocross occasionally. Stock size in a 924S is 195/65-15. I don't want race tires, but a 3 season tire is fine.

Here is what I am looking at:

https://m.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Sumitomo&tireModel=HTR+A%2FS+P02+%28H-+or+V-Speed+Rated%29&partnum=06HR5HTRASP02&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

https://m.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=ADVAN+Fleva+V701&partnum=055VR5V701&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

The Yokohama looks like the better tire, but the Sumitomo is closer to stock diameter (an inconsequential amount smaller) cheaper, and will fill the wheel wells better. The Yokohama is a smaller diameter by about an inch smaller in diameter, which I will probably like the looks of less but on the other hand I think the car is geared a little tall, so a small step in the right direction.

Any thoughts? Any other suggestions I am missing?

I got Continental Extreme Contact Sport for my 1993 Mercedes 190e Sportline.
They are 15 and I like them a lot. Not the cheapest option but great grip.

P.S. I know this forum is pretty low volume these days, and postings poll may be kind of goofy, but it was there and I don't think I had ever done one before, so went for it.

You'll need to check the sizes but last summer I chose General GMAX RS for my 944 and Boxster. They had decent reviews, were priced right, and not too surprisingly were made in Europe as General, an American company, was purchased by Continental a few years ago and since these are their performance "summer" tire it makes sense. I had Continental Extreme Contact DW tires on a BMW 635 CSi and liked them too and would say these are comparable.
