Hi all,
As you maybe know, KS has recently stopped to provide its conrod bearings for our 924 2.0L engines. I'm writing this little message to aware you that Mespiecesauto is working to make them according to the original specification : 3 layers SAE 794 materials. The icing on the cake : oversize parts will be availabe (as KS didn't provide them).
Available from spring 2021. Price is not known yet, however it musn't exceed the main bearings rate (which is 120€ in regular price w/o extra cost for European shipping (10€)). We think about preorders sales at advantageous price as it was made for the main bearings.
We're working on other subjects, more especially for the 931 and 946
I hope we will succeed to save our unloved Porsche

I need a set of these, sold the unused set i had to a friend in need!
I bought main and rod bearings back in the day when everything was available of the shelf, 2006 or something like that, i think they should be good quality. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

In for 2 sets: 1-std. 1-OS.
What are your future plans for the crank and rod bearings? Do you plan on making additional production runs as demand grows or are these more of a one time project?

Hi,
The very first batch was small because it was for the preorders sets to launch the sales. The remaining main bearings are following and will be available from end-december.
As I wrote in the beginning of this post, rod bearings has been launched. We expect them to be ready from march. We plan to make preorder sales as it was made for the main bearings but we'll see it in the coming weeks
Anyways be sure I will remerber in first, those who claimed they needed rod bearings on this post |

To be more clear, it's not planned to make several productions for providing engine bearings. Anyways as I explained the remaining main bearing production will be available in the end of the month. |

There is delay due to sanitary situation. Keep updated when they will be ready. In June we think. |
