I have in years past owned two 924s here in the US with '76 on the title, that were brought into the country under some form of grey market process during the model's initial rollout. Given the changes that have allowed so many previously unobtainium cars onto our roads lately, I was thinking...

Are folks bringing very early, previously ineligible 924 cars into the country these days?

I haven't owned a 924 in a while, but I'd love to have another super-early 924.

So if you see a TRUE '76 924 (with '76 on the title, not just manufactured in '76 etc) for sale here in the US, PM me. If it's close to Las Vegas, even better.

Thanks, Al

I wonder what the fourth character of the VIN says.

A bit OT but I just got a '76 for free a month ago (it had bad rust but is repairable) and sold it to my friend for 1000 euros, with bunch of extra parts needed for repair. He has body shop himself so no problem for him.

Thought I'd revive this. Still would love to have a super-early 924 (NOT a 1977 US model). If you see one in the southwest, message me.
