Any help here will be great! I have a 81 924 2.0 Base Auto. The damper is fubar! I have a guy who is able to re-mold the rubber as these parts are hard to come by second hand and nearly impossible brand new.

Now I can save about $2000 if the rubber isn't concave, but as a flat piece. The alignment of the centre piece and the outer ring will still be correct but the rubber wont curve up.

Will this still work?
