Some years ago there was a hive of activity in producing GT kits in OZ.
What happened? Who has the moulds (US = molds)? Is anyone sitting on a stash of pieces?
Ideally I'd like a rear bumper and the fibreglass GTS rear spoiler that was around, though I might also be up for some rear guards.

Anyone have any clues?

PS. I did try Leadfoot several years ago, as I was advised he was the last keeper of the moulds, but never received a reply.

I have a kit that came from those moulds, I believe it was organised by the illustrious pita. I haven't seen him around here much due to obvious reasons.

He is active on Sphinctergram though...

Great kit btw...

Hey Pete,

AFAIK they were Alan`s moulds and recall at least one set was produced by a fibreglasser, maybe in Briz, but were quite costly. Think Gavin may have ended up with those. Then vaguely remember Pita finding someone more economical at GC or on the way down there. Best bet IMO would be to try contact Alan.

Sure Stu never had them. He made up his own bonnet mould though and at least one in carbon fibre that looked & felt amazing, so lightweight. Had one "next on order" myself, but unfortunately he went through a personal family issue and had to move his V8 car and stuff into storage back in Melbourne.

Be a real pity if these become lost or destroyed. Good luck chasing them down.

Cheers

Any luck mate?

Sorry, I did try looking for the contact details I once had for Alan, email & phone but no good, even old email backups from 10 years ago.

Could always try contact Pita via FB or ring every fibreglass shop in SEQ.

Hiya RC

No, nothing unfortunately. He seems to have gone off the grid.

Still no luck finding them here in OZ. Funnily enough, on Dec 29 I received a PM from none other than 924 Aussie, asking what I was after.
I answered the PM with the bits I was after, and never heard from 924 Aussie again. Seems like he must still have the moulds.
