Evening all,

Its been a bit since I have been on here, but wanted to see if there are any bites on Alice. Getting more into race cars, and she is really just sitting around, so I debated and if someone else can give her a good home and somewhere she'll get driven more...mo better for her.

Asking $3500

Clear North Carolina Title
Depending on where you are at I can potentially meet you half way (in moving the car)
Does not need to be trailered, have driven her several hundred miles in a go (recently)

VIN is a 1981, but she has '80 running gear, harness, and engine (thus the 1980ish designation)

- Engine completely rebuilt (new main and rod bearing, new rings, everything cleaned and checked at machine shop)
- Turbo completely rebuilt (by me, but new bearings and seals)
- Wastegate rebuilt (new diaphragm, seals, and completely cleaned and valvle lapping checked at machine shop)
- Fresh seals throughout exhaust, no leaks
- Swapped from S1 to S2 charge tube and throttle body
- Complete S1 harness swap-over (so you don't have to deal with DTIC)
- Installed AEM wideband (can see in pic below)
- She burns very little oil (I've driven her around 4K miles, only had to add .5 quart the entire time)
- Vibratechnics motor mounts
- New clutch / Pressure plate / Throw out bearing
- New clutch slave and master cylinders
- Manifold does have the crack (I do have an S2 one without a crack (could be included for a little extra)
- Fans kick on just fine, no overheating issues even on 90f + days

Snail Shell gear box
- Synchro is "notchy" downshifting or upshifting into 2nd (if you shift slowly its fine, does not hinder fun driving)

- Interior "refreshed" (cleaned out, everything removed, nasty carpet thrown away, went with the 964 C4 lightweight look (its easily removable speaker box felt) relined with heat shield
- All green instruments from the original '80, so they match the motor not the tub
- Odometer is NOT accurate (cog is broken)
- Interior light work (new fixtures)
- Dash slightly cracked....but who's isn't
- Fan doesn't blow all that hard....may be the biggest fault for the interior
- heat and defrost work great
- Stereo is NOS - works great (new antenna with it)
- New seals for roof
- New seals for hatch
- Rear wiper and defrost do not work

- New Sachs inserts in the front (even though they are painted yellow)
- New Sachs shocks in rear
- New tie rods (inner and outer)
- New ball joints
- New bearings and races
- Polly bushings all around up front
- Two newly rebuilt trailing arms will come with car
- New rotors and pads
- ATE super gold fluid

Does have full tool kit!!

Paint...well, it is what it is.
I do have the original color front chin spoiler, but the black one has no rust

New (4K miles) Firestone Indy 500 tires
16 inch wheels

I am sure I am forgetting something

Overall, she is a great little car with a ton of boost. PM if interested. I can provide video of her under boost, just let me know if you would like it

Cheers,

Hmmmm...have you ever seen the Grand Canyon, or maybe Tombstone? Ever consider a road trip out to sunny Arizona and maybe enjoy a plane trip back to NC?
How about Vegas...do you like bright lights and action? A little side trip before heading back maybe?
Hmmmm...something to think about... !

Thanks for the views guys!

I know it's a bargain. Was way more a labor of love and a challenge I needed at that stage in my life. I did the same with a 964 a while back (asked a bit more for that one😉). Priced the way she is so someone wanting to get into the cars but may not have the cash can get into them. She likes to be driven.

TJC - very tempting may have to consider it.

Cheers all!

Actually Ian it wouldn't be the first time someone took me up on the idea. I had a friend in Atlanta who wanted a 914 I had for sale and I had just bought a 912 back east near him. He picked up the 912, brought his kid along with him to take in the adventure and sights, and then took the little 914 home after visiting me!

Let me know and I'll arrange to have the cash waiting !

Thank you Riley! Great meeting you by the way. Stay in touch.

Here is a virtual Test Drive that I shot. Sorry for the sun, and I had my GoPro attached to my racing helmet....so visibility is a little low.
